The Crazy Asian opened on Christmas Day in Denver Colorado, thank you @ChrisGeorge4 for the suggestion. I had a desire for Chinese food on Christmas Day and the Crazy Asian Restaurant on the corner of Downing and Alameda was open. I had very good chicken lo mein and the egg drop soup was excellent. There are not too many restaurants open in Denver on Christmas Day, but the Crazy Asian came through!

Crazy Asian Open on Christmas Day
Monday, December 28th, 2009What to do in Denver
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009Sometimes, you just need good food and a good beer. Some would define this as a solid meal. The Hornet provides just that for you. They are located on Broadway in Denver. It’s just next to Senor Burrito, an excellent Mexican restaurant. The Hornet has great food, great service and great beer. You can find Great Divide beers, as well as an solid bloody mary, along with many other adult beverages. The cubano and the gangster are tasty sandwiches. The best side are the spuds. It’s like awesome scalloped potatoes layered in a…well, you’ll just have to get there to taste this side dish. It’s really fantastic.
5 Feet of Fresh Colorado Snow
Thursday, December 4th, 2008Loveland reported 5 feet of fresh snow during the past week. Denver was blanketed in snow today. Fort Collins reported 5 inches of snow. The roads were icy and all I could think about was continuing to drive on highway 6, getting off on 70 and hitting up Beaver Creek who reported 7 new inches today. I sat in my office and watched the snowfall visualizing bombing down a run with powder shots hitting my face. I left work and ended up at the ski shop picking up my Gotama’s which are my rock skis this year. I hit multiple rocks on Breckenridge during our powder day last Saturday. The ski shop was busy and I imagine the ski resorts will to be very busy this year. The fear is they will be so slow due to the economy that some have taken extreme measures such as laying off employees. I hope the snow gods prevail and prove the forecasters wrong.
When you take your next ski trip, be sure to check out our Colorado Ski Reports showing ski reports from all of the major resorts and ski areas and or our Coloraod Ski Traffic Report guiding you to the mountains. Hope these sites help you out for your next ski vacation or ski trip.
