Yesterday was a great powder day skiing at Vail. The ski resort was not busy. I wish I had lodging last night to continue skiing today. I felt like it was my 2007 RippinSkiers.com epic powder day at Vail.

We skied from 9:00 am to 3:30. We started from Lionshead and worked our way back to Blue Sky Basin via Tea Cup. I had multiple face shots. I jumped off of anything and everything possible. This was a true powder day where all fears are left at home. So…you fall – big deal – IT”S POW POW!!!!!

Every ski resort is great on a powder day. Vail, in my opinion takes you to an entirely new level. There is so much terrain. On a powder day during the week at Vail, each run gets better and better. There is very little time for stopping, eating, drinking; just time to ski!

All in all, it was a sick day! I hope you get one of these days in your lifetime. It’s a great feeling!
